Breaking news: Ralf Ragnick brings up a young star who will replace Bruno Fernandes as he is on ban...
Manchester United has had a terrific time under
Ralf Rangnick's leadership. The 1-1 draw with
Newcastle on Monday night, though, was full
of disappointments and setbacks for United's
new manager.
Rangnick's side put in a lackluster performance
against one of the Premier League's worst clubs
this season, losing ground in the race for the top four.
To make matters worse, Bruno Fernandes was
booked for the seventh time this season against
the Magpies.
Fernandes, who has been a constant for United
this season, had another quiet night and will
now miss United's Premier League meeting
with Burnley on Thursday night.
Rangnick should be able to bring back Donny
van de Beek from the cold, and the Dutchman
has a real chance to overtake the formerly untouchable
Fernandes in Rangnick's new-look United.
