Revealed : Most faithful husbands among top players vs Most unfaithful: Ultimate XI

 

Unfaithfulness runs wild in our modern-day 

society, particularly in love and marriage 

relationship. And footballers are neck-deep in 

the mire.

Fame, fortune and beauty do little to stem 

the tide of unfaithfulness among footy couples

. In 2016, Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren who was

 earning £65,000-per-week, found out his 

wife Anita had cheated on him with a forestry

 worker who earns about £200 monthly.

While many top footballers have found 

themselves involved in sexual indiscretions, 

numerous others have stayed faithful to their

 WAGs.

Let’s square up the Faithful superstars 

against the Unfaithful.

We begin with the most faithful XI

GK - Alisson Becker

Alisson Becker can be considered the best 

goalkeeper on the planet. He’s also managed 

to keep himself away from scandal. The £67 

million goalie is married to the beautiful Natalia 

Loewe. The two started dating in 2012 and 

got married in 2015 with Alisson still 

at Internacional.

Alisson and Natalia have a daughter – Helena

. While Natalia is a hottie and missus to 

a multi-million-pound footballer, she’s also a 

brainy medical doctor.

LB - Marcelo

With fluffy hair and skin tinted with tattoos

, you may mistake Marcelo for a playboy. 

Far from it. The Brazilian defender has been

 married to Clarisse Alves for 12 years, although

 the couple has dated since they were 15.

Marcelo and wife are blessed with two lovely

 boys Enzo and Liam. Future football stars 

maybe.

CB - Raphael Varane

Some players like to keep their relationship

 away from the public eye. That helps if they’re

 faithful; Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is. 

The French defender has been married for 

five years to Camille Tytgat, a beautiful 

French blond.

Varane and Camille were schoolmates 

as kids and became an item in their teenage 

years. They tied the knot on 21st June 2015 

at a private ceremony in France. The lovebirds 

have a son, Gaston Varane.

CB - Thiago Silva

It’s more of a face than a voice for most

 footballers’ WAGs. They leave fans drooling

 by posting captivating images on Instagram, 

but rarely ever speak to journalists, or comment

 on football-related matters. Not Isabelle 

wife of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva.

In 2019, Isabelle talked to Le Parisien about

 her Instagram post criticizing Unai Emery 

for leaving her hubby on the bench in Paris

 Saint-Germain’s 3-1 loss to Real Madrid at 

the Bernabeu in 2018. Last week, her 

Instagram post about why the Silvas 

fled Paris for Brazil became an internet 

sensation.

Thiago and Isabelle have dated since 

the star wasn’t earning a penny from football

. They got married in 2005 and have two 

sons – Isago and Iago.

RB - James Milner

James Milner and Amy Fletcher can teach 

us a lesson or two about faithful love 

relationships. The pair started dating before

 Milner became a professional footballer. 

Today, the Liverpool star is games away 

from 700 in his glittering career.

The Milners are blessed with two children – 

a four-year-old daughter and a three-year-

old son.

LM - Thiago Alcantara

Thiago Alcantara is a scintillating midfielder

. Beyond that, he’s a hopeless romantic. 

Julia Vigas, the gorgeous Spanish brunette

 who stole Thiago’s heart a long time ago, 

knows the rest.

Thiago and Julia are married and have 

a son. Together they run the Alcantara

CM - Jordan Henderson

Jordan Henderson doesn’t mess around.

as teenagers and have maintained a

Jordan and Rebecca Henderson have three

 children including daughters Elexa and

CAM - Luka Modric

Quiet, shy and reserved, Luka Modric embodies

 a man who can’t hurt a fly; unless you’re

 on the receiving end of a heavy tackle from

 the iconic midfielder.

Modric dated Vanja Bosnic for close to four

 years before the pair married in 2010 

at a private ceremony in Zagreb.

The Croatia captain is a father of three – two 

daughters and a boy. The Modrics have 

built a happy home anyone can be proud of.

RM - Andres Iniesta

Andres Iniesta is an easy-going guy who’s 

committed to his career. He’s burning the 

same candle in his love life. The Barcelona 

legend is married to Anna Ortiz a beautiful 

lady he dated for four years before walking 

her down the aisle in 2012.

Iniesta once recounted a story of how 

Anna made him sweat before agreeing to be

Many believe Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s fame

. In 2002 he met Helena Seger a successful 

businesswoman.

Zlatan and Seger have two sons, Maximilian

CF - Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is another big footballer 

who’s stuck with one woman for as long as 

anyone can remember. In 2017, Messi got 

married to Antonella Roccuzzo, but the 

pair have been together for much longer.

 Messi and Antonella dated for a decade

 before getting married.

Only Antonella knows what it feels like 

to wake up next to a football god every 

day. She probably adores him more because

 he's always been faithful.

Now to the most unfaithful XI

GK - Gianluigi Buffon

Some couples put more effort into their 

marriage and try to work things out if there 

are kids involved. Many others cannot stomach

 a cheating spouse; kids or not. That defines

 the story of Gianluigi Buffon and his nine-

year relationship with Alena Seredova.

In 2014, Buffon and his wife of three years

 Alena split. It is believed Alena decided to 

divorce the goalkeeper (and father of her two

 sons) after discovering he had cheated 

on her with a TV reporter. That narrative 

is hard to disbelief because days after leaving

 Alena, Buffon struck up a romantic 

relationship with Ilaria D’Amico.

LB - Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole had several messy affairs that

 ruined his marriage in 2010. Before all the

 drama, Cole was married to Cheryl Ann 

Tweedy a popular music star in the UK. 

The Coles quickly became a power couple

 and everyone admired what they had.

After four years of marriage, trouble started 

when it was alleged Ashly had been cheating.

 Models like Coralie Robinson, Brooke Healy

 and hairdresser Aimee Walton were mentioned

. Not long after, the marriage hit the rocks. 

Ashly’s public image took a massive hit 

after the divorce. Thankfully, Cole found love

 again with Italian model Sharon Canu –

CB - Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand has garnered a lot of sympathy

 for being a widower following the death 

of his wife of fifteen years Rebecca Ellison.

But Ferdinand had been involved in many 

documented scandals before his ex-wife’s 

passing. He even appeared in a sexually 

explicit video in 2000. There were allegations

 he tried to sneak in mistress Carly Story 

into England’s team hotel back in the day.

We can’t talk about football ‘sexcapades’ 

without mentioning John Terry. Captain, 

Leader, Legend and all, Terry still allegedly 

demeaned himself enough to bed a former 

teammate’s missus in 2009. What was 

worse? Vanessa Perroncel, the woman 

at the centre of the drama, the girlfriend 

of Wayne Bridge was a friend of the Terrys. 

Terry even tried to gag the story using the 

judiciary. We all know how that panned out.

The scandal was enough to cost Terry

 his England captaincy at the time. Fortunately

, his wife Toni stuck with him through the 

mess.

RB - Kyle Walker

Unlike Toni Terry, not all women forgive 

their hubby when he crosses the line with 

a strange woman. Kyle Walker’s ex-wife Annie

 Kilner is a typical example. In February 

2020, the model and TV personality decided

 to take a walk from her superstar husband

 in the aftermath of a fling he had.

Walker, 29, had an affair with reality TV star

 Laura Brown. Unfortunately for the player,

 his wife and mother of his three sons couldn’t

 continue with the relationship. She has since 

changed her Instagram bio to 'Single mummy

 to my 3 angels.'

LM - Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney was far from a cool-headed 

player on the pitch; off it he was promiscuous

. Coleen McLoughlin, his long-suffering wife

 and mother of his four kids somehow managed

 to stick with him.

Rooney allegedly bedded numerous prostitutes

’, had threesomes and all, including romping

 with 49-year-old grandmother Auld Slapper.

CAM - Mesut Ozil

Mesut Ozil is a superb midfielder, but you 

shouldn’t trust him with your daughter. In 

2014, it was reported he was sleeping with 

a partner of fellow German footballer Christian

 Lell. Ozil never weighed in on the accusations, 

but his long-term girlfriend Mandy Capristo 

didn’t waste any time in deleting all his pictures

 from her social media accounts after 

dumping him.

RM - Franck Ribery

Scarface Franck Ribery was a gem in 

his hay day. But he wasn’t always faithful

 to his missus. In 2009 a sex scandal blew

 up in the

 Frenchman’s face. At the time, he was with

 Wahiba – a beauty he loved so much, 

he converted to Islam just to marry her.

Ribery was alleged to have had sex 

on several occasions with Zahia Dehar – 

an underage prostitute. The sex scandal

 didn’t just involve Ribery. Two other French

 stars Karim Benzema, and Sidney Govou

 were mentioned. Wahiba chose to stay 

with her husband through the embarrassment.

LWF - Cristiano Ronaldo

Who didn’t Cristiano Ronaldo date? Given 

he is one of the greatest footballers of his 

generation, Ronaldo had the most beautiful 

and famous women circling him; including 

the likes of Kim Kardashian, Jennifer 

Lopez and Paris Hilton. Of course, he was 

rarely ever loyal to these women as Irina 

 would want us to believe. The Russian 

model claims she split with Ronaldo after 

she found out he had been texting other

 women.

CF - Anthony Martial

It must be noted that Anthony Martial is 

married to arguably one of the most beautiful

 WAG on this lineup in Melanie Da Cruz. 

That did little to stop him from sleeping 

with model Malika Semichi in 2018 though.

A leopard doesn’t change spots. Martial 

was accused of cheating by first wife Samantha

 Helena. Guess who he cheated on her with? 

You got it - Melanie Da Cruz. Just 24, and 

well into his second marriage, you’ve got 

to pray for Martial.

RWF - Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs was another British football 

star who tried to gag the media from exposing

 his extra-marital misdemeanours. Giggs was

 married to Stacey Cooke in 2007 when a 

scandal erupted; it was alleged he had an 

affair with Big Brother star Imogen Thomas. 

It didn’t end there.

In 2015, Ryan apologized to his brother 

Rhodri for an eight-year affair he had with 

his wife Natasha. It was reported that Natasha

 aborted Ryan’s baby before choosing to 

marry Rhodri. Giggs split with wife Stacey 

in 2017. She’d had enough.
